I've put them at equal 4 because if India and South Africa played in India, I'd back India - in South Africa, I'd back South Africa.silentstriker said:Can you explain South Africa's ranking of #4?
Their recent test record is much worse than India's. Though I do agree with your 1-4.

I think it's got more to do with the fact that most non-kiwis will never rate us, no matter how good we get.sirjeremy11 said:I think the most interesting part of this is the names people are giving to the tables. Crack up. Interesting that NZ are being ranked so low in ODI's, but I guess that is mainly a hanover from the series in Soth Africa where they were crud.
We were crud in terms of finishing them off and performing under pressure. I agree that we were not complete crud, but in terms of hammering the final nail, and the actual result, we were crud.mundaneyogi said:I think it's got more to do with the fact that most non-kiwis will never rate us, no matter how good we get.
I don't agree we were crud either. Those games were fairly close.
No, why? We play to win the game or the series, not not to lose.silentstriker said:Can you update that list to be Not Lost, instead of Not Won?
I think that will change the whole complexion.
I disagree, for example: 1-1 in Australia is very much different than 0-3 in Australia. Yet, your rankings count them equally.Goughy said:No, why? We play to win the game or the series, not not to lose.
Doing that would change the complexion but it would also completely change the reason for the list and the whole point.
