Real shame that Milner was the only player keeping up with Rooney just now.

Mind you, the 2004 version wouldn't have been caught up by the defender anyway.

TBH, clearly not match fit though, may have done the job if he had been. I'd be thinking of taking him off soon.

Lucky. Marking not so much poor as non-existent by Parker there, who really isn't having his best game.

tbf looked like there might have been an offside in the build up (the guy who played the final ball came back from an offside position to collect the ball) would need to see it agian though

Yep, having seen the replay I reckon you're dead right. He was offside when that first ball was played.
