If Finch is out it should be Warner to captain. Obviously that's not going to happen, on the first front let alone the second, but it's the clear and obvious choice given his success as a captain at franchise level.

Yeah, Nissanka's innings was really similar too. They both tried to hit out or get out and they weirdly just couldn't achieve either.
We used to have a nine a side intra club tourney every year where we mixed a couple of players from every senior grade into teams, and after a couple of seasons we had to change the rule so a captain could retire one of his players, because teams were deliberately dropping catches to keep the lesser players in.

Finch's knock reminded me of that, it was so bad,

Why are the filth getting another look at the MCG against Ireland before they play Aus on Friday? They should have been sent to Tennant Creek for this game.
