Australian Domestic Season 2020/21

When was the last time anyone had a 1000 run season in the shield? Green looks on track for one, as does Head. And this is in spite of the shortened shield summer.
Only two years, Harris and Wade in 18/19. Gotta go back to Voges in 14/15 for the next instance though, then back to 08/09.

In comparison it was done every year from 03/04 to 08/09 and two of those had three.

Not sure no.6 really suits him either. Obviously the plan was for him to bowl a bit so it made sense but he'd be more suited to no. 3 or 4 in an ideal world. He should at least be batting ahead of Henriques or whoever else gets that other middle-order spot (*cough* Maxwell *cough*).
Yeah I could see him batting five at the lowest long term. Ideally three or four but you’ve got Try Hard and God in those spots so it probably won’t happen

Watched an over of this Medew-McEwan fellow. Interesting looking. Bowls pretty slowly but seems more accurate than, say, Pope, and gives it a good rip. Batsmen don't seem to have much trouble with his googly though, which he bowled twice in the over - way too often.

Good to see Patto scoring a ton. If he's in form he's a better 5/6 than Head or Wade.
But does he have elite aggression?

Hoping Street ends up with a ton here. I pray he learns a good lesson from Matt Renshaw and vows never to show a hint of aggression in his career, lest he be ruined.

yeesh not the best go round for the future australian captain but hot frick it's frustrating to see the basically-australian attack getting kerplunked by rando cricketers with names like "harry nielsen" and "travis head"
