Probably need a decent middle order batsman, that would be enough. Trading window is fine with me.

Highly impressive side, it must be said - could well be picked as a late 1990's-2000's all-star ODI team. With a second opening quick bowler of high enough quality, should be an extremely difficult outfit to beat.

Thanks, I put a lot of thought and calculations behind my bids. Let's see if it ends well, as I seem to have a decent amount of cash balance (though I suspect there might be some here with better cash). Yeah, a good bowler and a good batsman, that's all I need. And, that too, needs good planning and excution in the last 2 rounds.

Also, happy with the fact that all my players except Bevan are/were good (or, great) in all forms of the game.

Really glad I got Kallis. I was in desperate need of a 5th bowling option. that he's scored over 10000 ODI runs at an average of 45 is just a bonus.

2.Saeed Anwar 8824 @ 39.21 SR 80.67
3.Zaheer Abbas 2572 @ 47.62 SR 84.80
4.Jacques Kallis 10838 @ 45.72 SR 72.72 , 254 @ 32.05 Eco 4.83
5.Mohinder Dhoni 5593 @ 51.31 SR 89.48
6.Graham Thorpe 2380 @ 37.18 SR 71.17
7.Kapil Dev 3783 @ 23.79 SR 95.07 , 253 @ 27.45 Eco 3.71

12.Hitesh Modi 1109 @ 23.59 SR 58.18

Among the best teams at the moment for me. Dont think you need Parore so if you can dig up a quality spinner and fast bowler from somewhere, you're sorted. I'm guessing you have a decent bit of cash left too despite the huge bid on Dhoni so maybe you've got a shot in getting it.

hb has a brilliant middle/lower middle order I'd say. Joe obviously has one of the best batting lineups.

I think Cevno has a terrific team at the moment. Just needs a top notch fast bowler and perhaps a better bat than Amarnath.

Just sent my bids in - like last round I'm not overly confident about my chances of picking up my first few choices though might well be able to steal the player I nominated for a reasonable enough price.

Such a long lasting draft lol.. During this draft, I've:

- Received a promotion
- Also received a salary increment at work
- Met and dated a girl
- Made above mentioned girl my girlfriend
- Become an uncle
- Worked on 4 different projects in office
- Attended 7 different weddings (seems like its the season)
- Gone for 2 funerals
- Watched 2 rounds of the WC
- Turned down 3 job offers
- Watched a fair few cricket series'
- Changed the style and cut of my beard at least thrice.

Did it take us that long to simply select 11 players for a cricket team lol??

International 12th Man
Tilakaratne Dilshan
Alec Stewart+
Brian Lara
Rohan Kanhai
Clive Lloyd*
Andrew Symonds
Justin Kemp
Wasim Akram
Saqlain Mushtaq
Bob Willis
Dennis Lillee

Lloyd was my top bid so delighted to get him, scored a match winning hundred in the first World Cup final and completes a very powerful 5, 6, 7, 8 in my batting line-up. He also provides the bonus of being a top captain and a tremendous cover fielder. In fact more by accident than design my team looks very strong in the field with Stewart a solid keeper and Dilshan, Symonds, Lloyd and Kanhai all top quality ground fielders.

Sunil Gavaskar
Chris Gayle
Michael Clarke
Kevin Pietersen
Greg Chappell
Mohinder Amarnath
Brad Haddin
Andrew Flintoff
Daniel Vettori
Terry Alderman
Malcolm Marshall

Reserves

1) T Chappell
2)

Very happy with Alderman given he was my highest bid in the round. A average of 23.36 with a economy of 3.65 and a strike rate of 38 shows he was a very good ODI bowler.

Blakus

State Vice-Captain
