Yes, generally adjusted targets favour the team batting second. Where the main benefit is it is a lot easier to bat in such a way to remain ahead of the D/L target if you think rain's going to wipe things out at any moment. Basically if you keep wickets in hand you're in a great position.

For instance if you're only 1 wicket down after 20 overs, whatever your score is, multiply it by ~3.5461. So 100-1 after 20 translates to a 50 over score of 354.6 (can't remember how it works with rounding and cba looking it up)

Santners action always looks so ugly. Plus he isn't really getting any turn. England should get going now, especially with rain due in later.

Would have preferred a bit more Milne here. Went past the edge a bit and slightly variable bounce means a miscue off the shortball not unlikely.

Anderson and Santner make this feel like over 32 already.
