5th Test (The Oval) - 31st July to 4th August

Nah you gotta expect a basic level of competence.

I think Akash was on the boundary to begin with but took a few steps in because he didn’t judge it well. Then realising it was going to his right he sort of ran in a straight line instead of hugging the boundary rope. Just very poor judgement and awareness.

it's on captain to make sure his fielders stay on the spot between balls and aren't creeping up, just as much as it is the fielder, tbf!
Like this should 1,000,000% not be the case at test level.

If people coach their kids correctly, properly humiliate and verbally abuse them when they do those things in under 10s, the lessons are learned early and remain with the players.

THE ULTIMATE TRUTH

These fellows have some serious mental issues. They badly need sports psychologists. Just look at the World Cup final in your own backyard: timid and frightened. Only Pant, Bumrah, or Jaiswal look Australian in this team. The rest are sheeps. Nitish Reddy looks like a tailender with the bat—subdued and terrified.

Many of them simply lack the mental toughness required for competitive sports. No shortage of talent, but psychological issues. Just facts.

Holy ****!

What a finish to an entertaining series. Didn't expect to see this when I tuned in tonight.

Continues England's run of not being able to beat the top teams at home. They had a prime opportunity with India's bowling misfiring at times, although they had issues of their own, to be fair.

Quite a collapse to go down by 6 runs, but what an effort by India to pull it out of the fire they way they did.

Looking forward to November.
