3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Yeah, I don't have a problem with that. Whereas the photo I saw this morning of Gill wagging his finger in Crawley's face was less palatable. Especially as Gill has some previous in this test when he thought that was the way to communiciate with one of the umpires. Hopefully Crawley, in the poshest voice he could muster, quietly invited Gill to relocate his ****ing finger up his ****ing arse. And then offered to help with that particular endeavour if necessary.

That's all.
I'm pretty sure any response from Crawley would start with "If you don't temper your boisterousness, my daddy will...".

I'm hearing that Bashir is a doubt for the fourth Test due to his finger injury.
Immediate issue I guess is whether he will (be allowed to) bowl in second innings. Being injury to left hand it would never have been a question in the past, but it seems far less allowance for “risk” is allowed by medical teams (insurance?) these days.

Current talk is that he probably won't bat again but should be able to bowl.

On a side note did anyone expect Archer to still be bowling 90mph+ spells deep into the 3rd session of a very hot day?

Hopefully he stays fit and can play much more than he has in recent times be it tests or in pyjama cricket. Good to see him back but you do wonder when the next injury will occur.
I didn't expect him to actually be playing ever again, but I did kind of expect that if he did he'd be flat out. That's just who he is.

Wasn‘t it his left hand.

Needs to man up if he is needed to bowl today/tomorrow.

Surely we need to bring someone else in and not just play Bethell.
