Aus going out is such a farce  Well done English weather.
When the first game was rained off NZ were looking like winning. When the second game was rained off Aus would have won. So if there was no rain Aus would have had 2 points going into this game. No change.

Yeah, the thrashing they getting here would have done for the NRR too. If we had to we would have gone harder to knock them out.

This tournament would have been a complete farce if today's game had been washed out. But it's alright now. Aus can't complain.

To be fair the NZ game was not as clear cut as the BD game. If this tournament is anything to go by, you're not out of the game at 50/3

Honestly though, Aussie selection has been found wanting. Dropping Hastings for Cummins and not having a proper number 4.
This mainly. Finch had given them a rapid start today and a proper number 4 would have joined Smith to solidify the innings.

England's batting is too good. Pretty much all of them can hold a bat. To beat them, you need to score 350, but that may not be enough. Why do I get the feeling that the last match (final) will be the first match of the tournament, and that too at the same venue – wouldn't that be ironic.
