Your opinion on 3rd test wicket?

Yeah but most of the collapses happened long before the lights came on. England were bowled out during day light hours and so was India on Day 2.

Your opinion on 3rd test wicket?

I think generally any conversation around pitches, like most things in cricket is shaped by your national interests and loyalties. Shane Warne for example would rip apart this pitch were this an Australia v India match but would watch in glee as England collapse. So a lot of the criticism from...

*Official* India Tour of Australia 2018/19

Pakistan scored 443 on this ground 2 years ago and lost by an innings

Ricky Ponting on Channel 7 and several people on this thread

Which is what makes the strike rate brigade so stupid.

Rahane did talk about a 200 before the match

Yeah totally and I thought Kohli post 2016 was over things like that

*Official* India Tour of Australia 2018/19

Yes and he agreed with the ICC rating of the pitch. Variable bounce from Day 1 is generally considered poor all around the world

Pakistan Tour of South Africa 2018/19

South Africa slightly ahead even with that wicket of De Bruyn given they have a strong tail in Steyn, Maharaj and Rabada.

Pakistan Tour of South Africa 2018/19

Yeah and then he got greedy and didn't care enough about being the next Akram. Time to move on from that narrative.

Pakistan Tour of South Africa 2018/19

As soon as he pegs his length back, he gets the edge. Hasan and Shaheen need to pick that up and hit that length over after over

This is his ceiling. I've watched him for the entire period since his comeback. He is not Rabada or Steyn. Occasionally threatening is Amir at his best, but he does give his captain control and ability to sustain pressure which is why he bowled so well with Abbas in Tests and Junaid in ODIs.

Pakistan Tour of South Africa 2018/19

He was not underwhelming in England. Probably bowled his best Test spell in the 2nd innings of the Lords Test. This is Amir 2.0 at his best - controlled, disciplined, occasionally threatening.

    Is Kohli better than Ponting?

Must have been a huge shock to find a player who comes with too big of an ego become a captain with too big of an ego.
  15. Black_Warrior

Pakistan Tour of South Africa 2018/19

Yeah and that's what made a difference for Pakistan in England earlier this year but as I said earlier, with the way they collapsed against New Zealand in UAE, they're not confident now to go with 5 batsmen and 5 bowlers. Of course we here could make a case that Imam is useless and Faheem would...

Pakistan Tour of South Africa 2018/19

They don't have a fourth seamer and these boys don't have the fitness to bowl extended spells
  17. Black_Warrior

    Is Kohli better than Ponting?

I find these 'Kohli is a bad captain' takes so amusing when for about 2 years all everyone wanted was for the aggressive Kohli to replace the defensive Dhoni as Indian captain
  18. Black_Warrior

*Official* India Tour of Australia 2018/19

Which would explain his comments about Agarwal's domestic record
  19. Black_Warrior

Pakistan Tour of South Africa 2018/19

Pakistan back to bowling their English lengths despite getting their wickets when they bowled a tad shorter. Little issues in adaptability is what holds this attack from being a truly great Test attack
