Watson is one of the most valuable players around these days. Even given his brain farts.

UDRS STUFF relating to the Australia in the West Indies 2012

I really think most Poms would support WI against those bloody convict inbreeds  .

UDRS STUFF relating to the Australia in the West Indies 2012

Not enough ;) . I can't recall the Roach decision of 2009. But the Dilshan decision was spot on, according to the rules of UDRS. No conclusive evidence whatsoever, so the on-field decision (OUT) stayed. That's the way the rule currently works, so I don't really see why you put the example up in...

UDRS STUFF relating to the Australia in the West Indies 2012

Sorry for going a bit academical on the statistics road, but here we go: That's simply not an arguement. To suspect there is any favouritism, you need a dozen of examples of decision referrals gone wrong. To solidly claim there is any favouritism, you really need a data set of hundreds of...

Dinner! Beef stew with fries. Both Flemish style. With triple yeasted beer.

UDRS STUFF relating to the Australia in the West Indies 2012

Agree with the idea the Windies are robbed. But favouritism? Seems far-fetched to me. Any reasons you go that way, apart from these examples?

Indeed! We've seen Dilshan reviewing a caught and bowled when he clearly hit it last year. Otoh, I've you're a batsman and given out caught behind and you are 100% sure you didn't nick it, you'ld feel pretty screwed when the decision is not reversed as there is no conclusive evidence....

No hot-spot, no snicko......, so unless we can see air between bat and ball, you can't reverse this. That's how UDRS works, right? So why was this reversed? Can't understand this.

Ever since his appearance in England in 2007, I've been a fan of Darren Julius Garvey Sammy. Been defending the bloke ever since ( I love Sammy ) . I guess everyone can see he is no Garner, Marshall, Holding, Roberts, Croft, Walsh, Ambrose or Bishop. Or Anderson or Broad for that matter. But he...

I don't know why, but when I see Nathan Lyon's face I get this aggressive feeling and want to punch him on the nose pretty hard,

A nothing shot that. Still a decent opening bat!

Not the hardest chance tbh. I guess Watson would take those 9 out of 10 easily.

The desperate sound of CATCH when a batsman plays a perfectly safe shot over mid off. Well done Kirk Edwards! He's looking good!

I'm not claiming it is. I'm simply impressed by this 19 year old's calmness. It's a rarity in itself!

Quite right! But......, He's 19! I'm quite impressed by his calmness. IMHO, punishing bad balls is easier to learn, as the years go by, than leaving or blocking! So far, I'm happy to see this. Proper Test opener.

Hmmm, I think we've seen too many opening batsmen being quick-firing low-averaging nothing cricketers. I like this! Wear out the bowlers. Frustrate them. Wait for the freebees!

Sure I play cricket in The Hague, but no, you have not been a pro for my club, since we have none. I play for Groen-Geel. Where did you go then? HCC, Quick, or possibly VCC?

's-Gravenhage, also known as Den Haag or The Hague. Why? What is this Amsterdam crap? Bunch of **** is Amsterdam! Sure, a very nice cricket field, but planes come over every 5 minutes :( .
