Crap man! Just leave that ball! Can't hook the newish ball on day 1..... Did so 4 years ago. Got a 5th day after tea session in Barbados on my honeymoon. Barbados is a decent place anyway for a honeymoon :) . My wife thought enough was enough, so I went to day 5 alone. Not the most romantic...

Missing a feather of a nick is perfectly normal, but this was a huge edge. Weird stuff....

Good analysis! My point was merely about England's ability to collect 200 runs on a fifth day GIVEN TIME. Despite England's crap performances with the bat in the SC this year, this pitch with this SL-attack could absolutely be negotiated by the likes of Ian Bell & co.

So, here comes Kevon Cooper... Never heard of him, gets 11 from 3, 4 wickets, 2 catches and a run-out. Nice!

Fair enough. But they England batsmen should be able to make 200 (given time), right?

My guess is that he likes cricket. I'm neutral, but since a couple of years, I've developed a thing for England.

I was wondering about the same.... I've never heard this before. I'm too lazy to search for my book of law though....

Well, Swanny really put matters firmly into England's pocket there. Fine bowling!

Was thinking about the same incident. Really mind boggling. A batsman immediately referring after he's given out caught, makes you feel he is not out 110 out of 100 times. Apparently either my logic is wrong or Dilshan isn't the wisest of men....

Always looking from the bright side! Scores are level for the loss of 4. Let's see if these two can add some more. I got the feeling they have it to take this Test into a proper and exciting 5th day!

So far, Bresnan has bowled only 5 overs. Am I alone in thinking that should be more?

    Bresnan is looking good!

Hmmm, From a neutral point of view, and always a fan of close games, I can't get really bothered about this. England's batting has been piss poor in the sub continent until this Test, but not their bowling. IMHO, the Lankans getting close to 300 would be quite surprising and quite an...

 To be serious, who gets to decide who faces first? Batsmen or bowlers? I've been watching and playing cricket for a few years, but never bothered about it.....

Hmmmm, I think that was the kind of referral that should have been taken by the umpires straight away, like they do with run-outs and stumpings.

What an incredibly stupid shot, given the match....

    I´d go with Bresnan.

Maybe so. But I can´t see why such an aggresive mow was needed. It´s a useless risk! Anyway, just when I figured it was England´s to lose, a wicket comes. Simply a great Test this!

A boundary by Prior. A proper one too!

I think a spinner will take the new ball right away...... Whatever you guys think...., I got the feeling SL lack a decent plan here.
