I think that’s the worry. I’ve seen them a few times this year and they struggled for a long while against the knights and dolphins. I’m guessing that could be a consequence of a young team being inconsistent. Whatever the reason it’s a worry.

Kind of disagree on the backs. I think they’re great and well worth the watching. They have pace and line breaking power. Jamal leads them beautifully. They do let in a try though.

with regard to their backs i rate kris and timoko (and tamale who’s unfortunately out) but i also think strange and savage (who’s now out too) are kind of downhill skiiers which is a trait that doesn’t bode well for finals

Ethan Strange is a gun. Whether he likes skiing downhill is another question but there's talk in every direction about him being in green and gold soon.

nahhhh tbf to the dolphins aside from hammer and katoa their entire first grade side has been riding pine with injury for the last five or six wks, they’d done an incredible job to be even in the eight when they were given the injury toll. herbie’s injury was the straw that broke the camel’s back

lol yep, been that way for as long as I can remember. Was the first 1st grade ground I ever went to and you couldn't get a park even back then. Was so much fun though. I remember fondly my grandfather giving Rex Mossop a spray because he wouldn't sign autographs for kids when Rex was on his way into the ground, and later the same day some kids throwing an apple at Rex and hitting him in the side of the head when he was live on air.

Might explain why he wouldn't sign anything I suppose.
