  • Can't say I blame you. Bitch of a time zone for watching. Terrible result to get up for from your POV, but was always a very tall order

It's always the hope that gets you.
Mate, go take a look at site discussion forum and my thread on Burgey. Am I being unreasonable?
Oi. I've not been around for a couple months and will be pretty inactive for a bit longer. But tradition is tradition. Fancy a little Avatar bet? If Aus win Ashes I get yours for 6 months, you get mine for 6 months if England win. Retaining the ashes via drawn series I'll give you 3 months. Deal? Magic.
Also if you're ever up around Aberdeen for any reason you need to try butteries.
It's an English breakfast but sub out link sausage for square, hash browns for potato scones, keep the bacon, black pudding, option for fruit pudding, haggis etc. Rather than toast it should be served with a crispy morning roll (which admittedly is a regional thing, they don't exist to the same extent outwith the West of Scotland)
Haha so you'll be backing me up next time I claim a Scottish breakfast is better than an English one?
Ah right. Only place I can think I've seen battered black pudding is Asda.

If you bought sliced haggis I'm not surprised you thought it was a bit meh.

BTW, you can get square sausage with haggis in the middle as well, which IMO is better than the one with black pudding in it (although I prefer haggis to black pudding). Good haggis should have more of a crumbly sort of texture (doesn't sound appetising when I put it like that haha) - similar texture to Stornoway pudding where it kinda falls apart when you remove the skin.
    ps point 3 is incorrect.

As for point 5...I'm just used to it. Not being able to buy after 10pm is a bigger issue.
Haven't a clue. I generally tend to just get chips if I ever get a chippy. Have never really known it not to be available.

You need to try Stornoway black pudding, tis the Rolls Royce of black pudding.
    Checked out POTP.

    Has Owen Benjamin - Check
Michael Malice knows his **** - Check
Talk about how the current insanity of the left is (in part) panic at market forces and freedom of information breaking down their bastions of power (University/Government/Media) - Oh that's a big check
Talk about transgenderism in kids being the hill they will die on - Yet another check.
A few jabs at the right to top it off.

    Sold!
When I was younger I liked the libertarian positions because they were the most logical and practical IMO, and didn't care much for the moral arguments because I thought at the time that was a more fluid concept. Now I recognise that it is just as important. If someone can deny theft just because a big group takes things, then they can delude themselves into other positions. And, unfortunately, that's the reality of it: the posters that consistently play the partisan game are intellectually dishonest because their morals are allowing these mischaracterisations. Even when you tell them that they're describing your position incorrectly, they continue to beat the same strawman. If they have a conscience, that will irk them - or others following the discussion - into honesty and that is the starting point for change.
I think it is important to discuss these things but not just for winning an argument. These posters aren't well-read and mistake very simple definitions and concepts - they gain their courage through their numbers. So when they see that the opposition is not just some lone wolf, it allows at least some breathing space for honest discussion.
I meant PEWS, yourself and others who get what I am saying. I feel there is a hesitance to get involved in these discussions the way I do. Maybe I'm wrong?
Sweet. Thanks for the recommendation man. I spend too much time commuting so more content is always welcome.
I'm not going to post on that thread for a while now. Sorry if I misrepresented your position.
Watched the video, it was really good! Just saw he had a podcast with Rogan too.
