It does makes me more conflicted as to who to support this evening. Naturally I'd want Portugal to lose, but I want Ronaldo specifically to lose more. Would it be worse for him if they lose or win here?
Perhaps if they blitz the Swiss without him today, then recall him against Morocco and crash out hard that'd be best for everyone.

Before we get into tonight's fare, perhaps I should throw in an update to my under-informed comments about Brazil's dancing goal celebrations last night. Apparently they are a response to the racist treatment of Vinicius Jnr - no idea whether that's due to his own goal celebrations or something else. Either way, fair enough and good luck to them.
