Our lower order batting being awful doesn't help. The entire batting order is so top-heavy, it's a miracle it doesn't capsize more often.
You see what happen in the warm up game against New Zealand we better not have one of those batting collapses in semi final or final.

It's all about Sharma's tons isn't it?

If those catches he's offered early had been taken India would probably have been rolled over at least once.

Great performance from Mustafizur. Be interesting to see the chase....India probably ahead but I expect Bangladesh to throw the kitchen sink at it.

Dinesh Karthik plays 8 balls in a developing partnership with Dhoni, only to throw his wicket away with that shot. Let's keep Kedar Jadhav on the bench?

This is a flat pitch with minimal assistance to the seamers. Hardik's batting skills may be less of a factor than his lack of bowling skills.

Dhoni batting at six makes no sense whatsoever. He should bat at four, accumulate a decent score in 40 deliveries and launch from there. Not so ideal to have someone like Pant, who just played his longest innings at 40 deliveries only.

Kuldeep may come back in the last two matches in place of Pandya. Jadhav back for Dinesh, and possibly Agarwal in for Pant to come in at six as a late-overs striker or number three at the loss of an early wicket.

BD average WC score is 304 (6.08 per over), so 315 is not a big stretch...

….unfortunately they'll need top do it in 40 odd overs if they are to reel in the NZ NRR (or England could just lose tomorrow would be better)

Can't drop Pandya he's been fantastic. His bowling is perfectly fine by 5th bowler standards, he's been great in the field and he's legit been one of our best batsmen. He has one failure today, big deal. No way he's getting dropped.

I see what you all meant about Dhoni these days. When I saw his innings against India I figured he just really, really hates Pakistan.

Yes Jadhav has lot more to offer than Karthik. Madness to drop him.

This is probable Bangladesh best chance of beating India in a long time these are perfect t batting conditions, and we know Rahim can be a match winner when he gets his eye in
