Joe Clarke in for Malan. **** it, right handed is aggressive and is good against spin. Hasnt really deserved call up for his career numbers but he converts starts

Anybody for Malan please, I've seen well and truly enough of him now. I'm still voting for Ollie Pope.

Great day at the cricket. Sunburn and cider replete.

Lots of India fans sat around us, who were very loud until they weren’t. Must send my thanks to one BA Stokes for that.

There's no way India should be satisfied with just 'competing'. This is a shockingly weak English side

Not that any of the guys in the reserves would make much of a difference to this batting line-up but with no warm-up matches in between, how do you expect them to stake a claim anyway?

Modern-day tour scheduling is just so annoying.

3 close defeats in the past year overseas and some questionable selections. Not quite sure if that is a positive or if w should be kicking ourselves or both. We are not bangladesh that we can pat ourselves on the back for a good effort and making it close though again had England themselves been on their game more this would have been a hiding.

Definitely not a positive anymore. It's no longer acceptable to be mediocre overseas. With all the money and resources, there is no excuse. WI were considered 'lovable losers' when they travelled overseas back before they started dominating. India are not lovable. And yet they keep losing.

“Winless Wankers” has a nice ring to it

Kholi 2nd innings shot was totally irresponsible really he should get the same criticism Sachin got when he got out against pakistan chasing that 280 total in test match.
