Just wondering why this rolling draft is the new method? Seems that some drafters are completely advantaged by getting to select before others in EVERY single round during the main part of the draft. In the later rounds the people who will get the first picks might be drafting different eras to the people behind them making their perceived advantage essentially void.

This method could work with a clause draft where there is a different question each round, but when we have to pick 1 player from each era, I think some positions are advantaged.

Q - do u have a better alternative?
A - no I dont. Perhaps if I was picking before others each round I would have more time to think of draftimg rules

Q - you just suck at drafting
A - hey thats not even a question, ****

q - should hurricane interview you already?
A - you read my mind

Q - way to go with the capitalisation of the word 'every' I think youve made your point.
A - haha thanks mate

Q follow up to Q1, couldnt u be thinkingof ideas now instead of bitching and moaning?
A - no im going to work. I dont want the drunk guy on the train to think im a weirdo

Q - are you worried someone will reply to your previous post before this unesteemed interview is finished?
A - *walks off train narrowly avoids other train*

There are 11 eras and 12 players, so technically the 12th person on the list (of each round) is the only one who should be disadvantaged because everyone prior gets to pick the 'next best' player for the era or eras available before them.

But of course not everyone will pick the 'next best' player because we all have different ideas about what constitutes a great team, so it all evens out eventually anyway.

The 12th on the list is not in the worst spot. After 2 rounds they've had a chance of getting 2 of the 13 best while 6th 2nd is after 19 picks.

Snake would have worked better here as half the time your picking before the people beside u. Look at 2nd vs 3rd. 2nd picks before 3rd in all 11 rounds. Thats not evening out eventually..

I think he thought that Kallis belonged to the 2005-present category. Unfortunately, he doesn't. 84 tests in 1995-04, and 82 from then on.

Ok, so for the time-being kk gets Jacques Kallis and frees up Sachin Tendulkar. Aldo and Monk gets 12 hours from now or their next respective picks whichever comes earlier to decide if they want to pick Kallis in stead (freeing Lara / Gilchrist as a result). If one of them decides to take Kallis, kk will get back Tendulkar automatically. If nobody takes Kallis, kk will carry on with Kallis.

In any case, kyear needs to make an alternate pick.

Is everyone happy with the above solution? The main shortcoming of this solution is that people picking within the next 12 hours don't know for sure which one between Lara, Gilchrist and Tendulkar is free for selection.

Cool. If they want to keep their picks, they should confirm it as well so that we can move on quickly.

My next pick depends on what happens here.
