Bloody great win for Hants.

Another great captains innings from Adams , totally different in nature to the one he played against Kent a couple of weeks ago.
Yes, and a win they needed given the number of weather induced draws all the counties have endured this season.

I hope the good form continues and we can beat Leicestershire next week. The weather doesn't look too bad at this stage so a result should be possible.

Just seen the delivery on Sky and you'd have to say it was an absolute beauty, pitched and tuned and clipped off, not the ball KP wanted to see first up.

What's up with cricinfo's ball by ball commentary of the county games? It's only showing one or two balls in each over for some reason.

Anyone know of any other web commentary available?

EDIT: Back to normal now - system glitch.

There's the BBC commentary of course - just listening to Worcs - Leics (going down to the last over).

Leics win after a horrible over from Harrison - when the 8th wicket fell they wanted 27 off four overs.

Billings Watch

Unfortunately Sam Billings didn't last too long today before being cleaned up by Ollie Stone for 12. Kent went on to win at Wantage Road against Northants, but their very promising young opener fell early after taking Jack Brooks for a couple of early boundaries. Billings Pro40 average this season still stands at a very impressive 58.20 with a strike rate in excess of 100.

Someone should be looking at deducting durham points. Every week it's 130 playing 200 at Chester le Street. Disgraceful.

Disappointed btw that Wood isn't playing ahead of Thorp. Without Wood we'd have lost the last game instead of winning it and he's a decent bat, which is a help given how the rest of batted this season.
