Just got back from my meeting, 168/9, really pleased now. Crap start but we've got something on the board to bowl at rather than a total collapse. Great stuff from Prior and Swanneh.
You know you've seriously ****ed up when you can say you're "pleased" with 9/170 on a road on the first day.

Feel the spinners get a rougher deal in that respect. Even when they are bowling in the acceptable limits(15 degrees.), sometimes it gives the impression that they are chucking.

The seamers at full speed are harder to pin point in that respect.

English commentators were saying that Saeed Ajmal bends his arm & wear full sleave shirt to hide it :D What a pity guys. You already started a controversy again on the 1st day of the tour. Same stuff u did on the last tour as well. Shame!"
Yeah, shame. Like if I punch someone in the face and he complains about it, he's the one starting a controversy about it.

Shame.

Do you think Bell will be considered the best at the end of their careers? 'Cause I still think that'll be KP.
Bell got the chance to go beyond him thats for sure, KP is a really special player but Bell could string 4-5 years together of consistent excellence.

We'll see if it's a road once we've had a go at them. 40-5 and we could have been out of the game by now, but we're still in it.

Side arm, looks to just go straight like an arm ball. Because at the low release point it won't bounce as much either.
Takes all the revs off it somehow. Grainy stream so I can't see how he releases it but it might almost be like a nuckle ball of some sort of something; it just slides through the air and then skids on.

It's a road. It is doing nothing out of the ordinary. Yes, England could bowl seriously well but it wouldn't be by seaming it all over the place.

The seamers at full speed are harder to pin point in that respect.
But they get a full 15 degrees when there's generally far less hyper-extension.

The whole point of the allowance is because you can't really bowl with that happening, not to allow spinners to fully exploit the limit so they can develop new deliveries which shouldn't be legal.
