*Official* England in India

Woo! A wide. 2/2.

Ball nibbling around to be fair but no English batsmen (yes, yes...) should have early ball movement as a problem.

The bowl is swinging a bit in the these early overs and the carry is decent for a Kotla wicket too.

It's nice that England can always have an ODI tour of India to remind nostalgic fans what the team used to be like.

Bloody hell. Three boundaries on the skid for Trotters.

Like waiting for a bus, etc.

Some pretty friendly bowling from Praveen to be fair. Said it many times before, but may he looks gash when he gets it wrong.

EDIT: 17 off the over. The comeback starts here!!

Have a feeling it's make or break this series for Vinay Kumar, hope he does well today.

When Tendulkar and Sehwag are both injured, Gambhir must open. I don't know why we are playing Parthiv. Let's give a chance to Manoj Tiwari in the middle order instead, we don't have a long term plan with Parthiv anyways.

Ravi's got his confidence up it seems. Big chance for him to nail down a spot.

GF, I agree. I was willing to go with him for a while to give this opening partnership a proper run, especially while it was working. But his shortcomings as a batsman are too much to ignore now.

He has a particularly high List A economy rate for someone who has supposedly been picked purely on performance. I reckon he's a better chance of being a decent Test bowler than a decent ODI bowler but I highly doubt he'll ever get a crack at being the former unless he can manage the latter.

Nah drop Prior from the Test side as well. 8-)

Wish I hadn't closed that thread now. :p
