It's worse than that. Remember several posters using footage of certain bowlers who were listed as 'fast' on Cricinfo looking pedestrian to confirm their points. They neglected to mention, however, that the bowlers in question were 40+ at the time the footage was taken. Disingenuous stuff.

PK's from Uttar Pradesh. You can fudge a birth certificate there just as easily as you can walk away with an unlicensed country revolver, no questions asked. Its the wild west of India, except for the north-easternness and the massive population. It is entirely possible that PK actually is 24, but I'd be disinclined to believe that. I guess the only way we'll find out for sure is when it comes to him retiring. We all know why Abdul Razzaq fell away as a bowler so 'young' instead of hitting his prime.

Haha, I just named him because he was such a blatant case. Imagine Praveen of now claiming he's 19 - that seemed the extent of Razzaq's con
No way. Worst one was Aaqib Javed. He toured here as a 16 year old in the late 80s. Pakistan came out here the following year and he was aged 19.

I feared that had they toured again the following season he'd have been 34 and about to announce his retirement.

Which bowlers are you talking of, specifically, out of interest.

Major respect today for Praveen's bowling. My first choice for England was Munaf, Ishant and Zaheer, prior to the tour. However, Praveen has really not put a foot wrong in his Test career and the ball to Swann was simply marvellous.

Didn't see any of the day so I can't comment on how he went today but surely the Swann ball was more the pitch that Praveen? Seemed to hit a crack from what I saw on the replay they showed.

Still an inswinger which pitched in the right area. But yeah, probably was more the pitch than the bowler.

Yes, it seamed off the pitch and took off, Swann thought he had it and it just started to get bigger and bigger on him. I bet England's back room boys will be zooming in on the video to see exactly where he landed it, crazy delivery.

Still. Sreesanth got respect for the delivery to Kallis and so I give Kumar respect for the ball to Swann.

Be nice if he showed a little respect to the umpires too.

When you're being dragged away by Harbhajan you know you're being OTT.

Think he's a lucky boy to just get 20% of his match fee,

It is never on to show disrespect toward umpires. Should be sorely punished.

He was questioning the umpire and then was being dragged away by Harbhajan after getting upset. Lucky boy to get away with 20% of the match fee.

Broad was lucky to get away last match too after questioning Bowden twice and then giving smirks.

Was this after the Pietersen LBW appeal, or a different one?

Broad's gotten off lightly in the past, but there is no way that he deserved a reprimand or anything about any decisions in the previous Test.

Poor form regarding his disrespect to the umpire, but the man can bowl in English conditions. Been calling this for years

Will be interesting to see how he goes in Australia later this year.

Was it after the Strauss Appeal or the Pietersen one? Can't remember clearly.

Had 3 marginal ones turned down by Erasmus and then a fourth given by Rauf.
