Yeah, I kinda agree with this. Some Australian fans like to believe that if they play to their best, England can't stop them, therefore any time they fail it's because they're not at their best. It's not like that any more. When the ball is swinging and Anderson and Onions are bowling this well, you'd need an awful lot of things to go your way to combat it. Realistically you can only score as many runs as they let you in these conditions.

The good news for Australia is that they still have a chance to bowl even better. If Johnson, Siddle, Hilfenhaus and Watson are bowling well enough, England's batting lineup will be equally helpless.
Yep which is why it is important that the conditions remain consistent for the aussie bowlers. If the ball is swinging its very very difficult to make runs, regardless of who is the batsmen. Indeed IMO the greatest ever innnings have been those in the face of massive swing.

Well the next 2 sessions could well determine the series !

The Poms have bowled very well IMO and deserve the position they are in.

It is now situation critical in how the Aussies respond with the ball.

Could we have used Stuart Clark in hindsight ? 8-)

Flabbergasted that everything is centred around Mitch the soft bitch.

If he stuffs up with the ball again , on the next plane home

Yeah all rests on how well Hilf and Mitch bowl now. The ball is moving sideways.

Though it does make you wonder if the poms have gotten out the mints again.

Unfortunatly no, it wont be. But yeah don;t understand why clark isnt playing, would have him ahead of siddle, let alone johnson.

haha, nice ball, bad luck Jimmy. Just feels like a wicket-taking atmosphere. You get the feeling anyone who bowls anywhere near the batsmen is in with a chance today.
