This.Badrinath might be a success or he might be a failure, but the Indian Selectors have to at least give him a go. He's earned it.
I said it in the tour thread, if he isn't called up for our next Test series I'm supporting the opposition. The guy's paid his dues and keeps on churning out the runs at all levels yet is consistently overlooked.
He's got the situation absolutley spot on there as well. I wouldn't have blamed him for going to the ICL if he chose to last year but at least now with the IPL he'll still be paid well enough even if he inexplicably never makes the Indian squad during his career.Badri said:For god's sake, allow me to fail,If I am unable to prove my worth at the international arena, I will never say anything and be a fringe player all my life. But I deserve one chance.
Forget Emerging Players Trophy, I have scored heavily during the A series against Australia and South Africa earlier and the only player to have done better than me in domestic competitions is Gautam Gambhir, when Manoj Tiwary went for the tri-series in Australia earlier this year, I was intrigued. Still, I tried to keep my cool. Now it's Virat Kohli. This is really going nowhere.
In all honesty, I've given up hope for him.
