    Well, missed this.

Brighton vs Derby if our merciful leader so allows.

I've no objections, but it's fred's call really as he's the only remaining runner.

Fortune does indeed favour the brave as fred's magnanimity is rewarded.

    Fallers:

GIMH: Tranmere 1 to beat Bradford 2
Eds: Brighton 1 vs Derby 2
Brumby: ManUre 0 to beat the Mackems 1

    The Last Man Standing:

fred: Pothas' lot 2 to celebrate in style (v Stevenage 0)

So it's a second outright of 2013/14 for the great man and a fourth overall.

&, speaking of 2013/14, that's it for the season. See you in 2014/15.

Yes terrific effort once again Brumbers - an odd season for me - won it twice in two sprints but that apart struggled to get a single tip right - still beat fatt though, so all is good

    Back for 2014/15

Be still, you thronging mass. Your patience is about to be rewarded.

After a summer devoid of meaning, CW's blue ribbon LMS comp is back to banish grey and sprinkle technicolour into your lives.

For anyone who has memory issues or is a sad-faced newb to this the rules are simple and beautiful: chose a team playing a fixture in one of England's top five divisions, the FA Cup or FA Vase and, if they win, you remain in the running; if they lose or draw you join the deadbeats.

You can only use a team to win and to lose once in each running.

Fixtures from the BBC. Games played from Friday the 8th to Monday the 11th only, please.

    Have at it.
