I have visions of being the new Henry Blofeld. Mainly in that I could twatter on about any old bollocks only vaguely related to the cricket.

Do we have a volunteer who would like to head this up in a similar way to what Adders did with the Phil Hughes banner thread?

I can organise particulars with this person and get some kind of system setup on the site.

I would be happy to assist, but don't really have much time at the moment (away for 2 weeks in February, for example) but would be happy to be on some working group or summat. Just won't be any help with any technical issues.

Same boat as Heef. Interested, but otherwise engaged over the next month or so.

I have loads of time on my hands so would happily be an admin for it or whatever, unless there's someone better equipped who wants to do it.

Yeah, I've seen quite a few sites with shoutcast things embedded at the top of each page. Probably not beyond the realms of possibility for here.

Can't wait till we create threads to judge and compare the CWers who do the commentating. Will be fantastic.

I don't like to brag, but I am a paid broadcaster. I got two bottles of gin for my weekly contribution of talking **** about sports for a provincial radio station last year. #highroller

Would also be happy to chip in and help with the set-up. Thing to consider is that commentary/interviews flow much better when you have visual contact with the other members of the conversation. Skype would be good for that.

Absolutely agreed. Did the occasional stint on a sports show when I ran a student radio station, much easier to get a conversation flowing and, just as importantly, avoiding people talking over each other if you're all in the same room. There's quite a skill in having a chat with the news anchor when they're in the other studio and you can't see them.

The important thing is to single out the CWer who most identifies with Danny Morrison and keep him away from that skype conversation at all costs.

Well so will you said Ethel in a snappy tone and she ran out of the room with a very superier run throwing out her legs behind and her arms swinging in rithum.
Well said the owner of the house she has a most idiotick run.'
