It hurts me so much that the very first post of you breaking my rule I have to "like". But I do.

Warne following well in the footsteps of BS Bedi
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW

Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta

I really don't see what the problem is with that tbh, unless there's something else Ponting said which I haven't latched onto.
Yep, completely AWTA. Tbh, it wouldn't surprise me if Warne hadn't actually read what Ponting said, and just heard that he "had doubts about Clarke" as such.

I'm always slightly astounded that Warne can read tbh.

Warne's got an eye for the spotlight but he's done sweet FA to help Aussie cricket since retiring.

Did he use the phrase "have to be prepared to lose to win"?

The thing that I get out of all this is basically the only man saying Clarke was awesome is his best mate in the team ''Warne''.
If you have players as good as and nothing but team players from the past like Ponting, Hussey, Hayden, Symonds and Katich all saying the same thing well there must be something wrong.

I mean look how good the Australian ODI team have come together and are actually playing some great cricket under Bailey.

Ive always been of the opinion that Clarke although a great batsmen he is **** at leading aswell as being a team player.

I think it's a bit of a generational thing for sure. The older guys don't seem to be down with Clarke's style of leadership, but everyone you talk to from that younger group of guys absolutely loves him. And he's a genius on field too.

What have Hayden and Symonds said that is anti-Clarke?

Yeah, was under the impression that until he had to turn the tap off, Symonds and Clarke were besties and ****.

Even if Clarke is a **** leader (it is my opinion that he's a genius on field but perhaps not so flash off it) all former players would do well to shut up about it until he retires or at least until the ashes are over

This is bull**** mate. If you want anodine commentary from an old mates' club like Channel Nine and Sky are already, fine. But I quite like hearing people speak openly about players. You're about a step away from taking a BCCI aprroach where commentators get signed up provided they don't criticise the current mob.

Yeah, but I'm not comfortable with former players who've played under Clarke speaking out against him, can't do much to help the unity of the team, you can be transparent without undermining the current team
