Warne having a proper whinge on our Sky that it should've been overturned. It's marginal Shane, they stay with the on-field ump. This we know...
Something that needs to be sorted IMO

If a guy with all the technology in the world cant say conclusively that it's out, then benefit of the doubt should go the batsman as it has for the last 140 years

He is still the batsman with most experience after Ponting and tbh he needs to show that when he comes out to bat. Sliding down the middle order is certainly not going to solve his problems, he just needs to show better application.
I agree, would be very surprised if slipping one spot down the order would all of a sudden stop Clarke playing shots like the one he did to get out in this match.

He needs to bat better, no matter where he is in the order.

Not that cut & dried IMHO. Sometimes (as with this one) the whole of the ball didn't pitch in line, but some of it (again, IMHO) did. Not sure if the law specifies about all of the ball or part of it, tbh.
Yeah, the UDRS is there to overturn howlers, not marginal calls.

Disagree, you can't overturn that. Hawk eye showed that a small portion of the ball was hitting in line, that should be enough if the onfield umpire gives it.

The benefit of the doubt has gone with the umpire for the last 140 years.

Wasn't conclusively not out. Would have been farcical if that had been overturned.
