I think you are taking about Clarke from 2005, these days he virtually stone walls everything which is primarily the reason why all the flair from his batting is gone.
White on the other hand really doesn't have any feet, he just stays rooted in his stance and and goes at the ball with his hands which is something that's always gonna cause him problem whenever the ball moves.
Yeah well Clarke of 2010 has been cleaned up a few times to balls angling which he's missed by some distance. For a stone-waller, that's a massive gap in between bat and pad he has there.

KP has gone from being on fire to frost-bitten in the space of a couple of weeks - now he knows what it's like to live in Melbourne

"Just a couple of centremetres, that is all that is needed". So true, Richie!

Well bowled by O'Keefe after Pietersen came down, couple of sliders and then got over the top of that one a bit more. Still, it's just a delivery, and KP's made it look a bit better than it was.
True, good bowling from SOK, but KP against left arm orthodox bowlers is ridiculous.
Edit: That alone could give Doherty or SOK a chance ahead of Hauritz!!

Asif and Gul have cleaned up some of the best in the business so won't put that against him tbh.

Irrelevant to the point. He was cleaned up by balls which barely deviated, stuff you'd expect a half-decent Test batter to keep out. Little to do with how good the bowlers are.

I'm loving the fact that Smith's batted in the top seven of this match and scored fifty but not bowled a ball inside the first 48 overs.
