*Official* Second Test at Lords

Looks fine, maybe a major interruption tomorrow and minor on Saturday.

BTW, use accuweather, not the BBC. The BBC weather is rubbish and always overly pessimistic.
Cricinfo saying it might rain heavily in the night but will it stop play if it rains only night think lords have a good drainage

Edit: from cricinfo "Gleaming weather here at the moment. The rumours had been of rain, but the sun is shining brightly at the moment. A few dense clouds around and about though, so stoppages are not out of the question today."

It might start raining tears in England if Ponting does a pre-match interview

On a serious note, please pick Stuart Clark, Hauritz will be useless in the first innings

Not long to go now. Hoping Stuart Clark is in ahead of Hauritz, but I doubt the selectors will actually do that. It's not a case of not changing a winning team, it's more a case of dont change a team that completely dominated the opposition, even though you can potentially improve it greatly.

Anyway, so the deck is a bit green? It will be taking spin on day 4 and 5? Hopefully we can continue tradition by picking up another win at Lords. Go Australia!

It'll be an unchanged XI for us, so Clark misses out again, how dire.

What happened to horses for courses hilditch? Your 'name' doesn't even deserve capitalisation any more.

England has won the toss and have elected to bat, Australia haven't made any changes to their XI from the last game.

Well, well. England win the toss and will bat. Wicket not green them, I take it?

Edit/ NM, pitch report now on. Good wicket with some carry.

Greg Matthews shocked that Steve Harminson is not playing. Personally I think they got it right at this stage for Graeme Onions to play. Whether or not that remains a good pick remains to be seen.

Unchanged for Australia, England bring in Onions for Panesar.

England win the toss and bat. Hopefully Australia can roll them today and get in a fair amount of batting this afternoon and get some runs on the board, hopefully losing no wickets and making an indent on the chase.
