Tom Moody for Sri Lanka?

With Tom Moody missing out to Greg Chappell in the Indian coaching role talk has shifted to who will become the new Sri Lankan coach.

The Sri Lankan Cricket Board put the selection process on hold while the Indian Cricket Board were conducting their interviews. The reasons for this was that Tom Moody and Greg Chappell were interested in both roles.

Moody is considered the front-runner for the Sri Lankan post and is set to travel to Colombo over the weekend for formal discussions.

The contract is likely to be similiar to other coaching appointments recently in the role going through to the end of World Cup 2007.
