Shoaib Akhtar Passed Fit

Shoaib Akhtar has been passed fit for the third Test against India at Karachi starting tomorrow after getting over his ankle injury.

With the pitch in Karachi expected to provide more assistance to the seam bowlers, Akhtar’s confirmation that he will take the field is a much needed boost to Pakistan.

Shoaib Malik has been ruled out of the third Test due to his father’s death.
