Ross Taylor gets ODI Call Up

Ross Taylor and Kyle Mills have been selected for the final two ODIs against the West Indies replacing James Franklin and Jamie How.

There have been calls all summer from fans and media alike for the inclusion of Ross Taylor who averages 43.29 in domestic List A cricket with four hundreds and nine fifties across 43 matches. Taylor plays for Central Districts and made his debut in the 2003/04 season.

Kyle Mills who had been struggling with a groin strain came into the squad on stand-by for Michael Mason who was struggling with a mild lower back strain prior to the third ODI at Jade Stadium, and now replaces James Franklin who has struggled with the ball in the current ODI series in conceding 107 runs at an RPO of 4.65 with only two wickets.

The fourth one-day international is on Wednesday at McLean Park in Napier.
