Possibility of shorter 2011 WC

The India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka Cricket Boards are to discuss shortening the length of the 2011 World Cup.

The director of special projects of the Pakistan Cricket Board Saleem Altaf told Reuters that “We have heard talk from the ICC about possibly reducing the number of days in the next World Cup. So we will look over it at our meeting.”

The meeting between the four nations is scheduled for June 18th to discuss the matter before reporting back to the ICC.
