Pietersen replaces Hussey

England batsman Kevin Pietersen has knocked Michael Hussey off top spot in the one-day international player rankings after the International Cricket Council released their latest rankings today.

Pietersen has had a good World Cup to date scoring 121 runs at an average of 60.50, while Hussey has been disappointing scoring only 11 runs from three matches at an average of 3.66.

Hussey drops to third place, while Ricky Ponting having continued his wonderful run of form moves up to second place.

Black Caps fast bowler Shane Bond is the big mover in the bowling rankings climbing five places to second position behind South African Shaun Pollock.
