NZ re-arrange batting order

The Black Caps have been forced into re-arranging their batting order following injuries to Lou Vincent and Ross Taylor.

Hamish Marshall who was flown in to replace Lou Vincent will bat at three, while Peter Fulton will partner Stephen Fleming at the top of the order.

Stephen Fleming commented to reporters today that “It has been a very dramatic week. Obviously Lou’s not playing and having Hamish back changes the balance of the side. I guess the best thing is the bowlers are still intact. They are the usual suspects.”

Chris Martin is also now in the squad following Daryl Tuffey’s bicep injury, but is not expected to play in the Black Caps first Super Eight match against the West Indies on Friday.
