Moody no closer to decision

Tom Moody has not made any decision on his coaching future but looks set to continue as Sri Lankan coach following their impressive showing at the World Cup.

Moody was linked with the now filled England coaching position and to the Western Australia coaching role, but the Sri Lankan Board are hopeful that he will choose to stay on as head coach.

Moody told media during Sri Lanka’s stop over in England prior to returning to Sri Lanka that “I’ve had one night’s sleep. I’m not making any decisions on my future until I’ve had a chance to speak to the Sri Lankan cricket board and look to see where I want to be professionally and personally.”

Sri Lanka are currently fifth in the ICC Test Rankings and fourth in the ICC ODI Rankings.
