Inzy a “dictator” says Akram

Pakistan great Wasim Akram has slammed Inzamam Ul-Haq calling him a “dictator” for the conduct he showed in preparation for the World Cup.

Akram told ESPN that Inzamam had become a very powerful figure and dictated terms to Bob Woolmer as well as senior Pakistan Cricket Board officials.

“Inzy definitely had become a dictator. He had obviously become very powerful. I know for a fact that Bob Woolmer and the foreign back-up staff would approach him for leave,” Akram said.

Akram went onto say “I have seen senior PCB officials sitting at his residence and awaiting orders. These things are not good for cricket.”

Akram also commented to ESPN on the state of Pakistan cricket saying “For the last seven years, there’s been no system in the PCB. Ad-hocism doesn’t work and that’s the reason why people like Imran Khan don’t want to get associated.”
