Fulton joins Black Caps injury list

Peter Fulton has joined the Black Caps growing injury list after breaking his little finger while catching Kumar Sangakkara during New Zealand’s World Cup warm-up match against Sri Lanka.

Fulton was taken to hospital where it was accessed by medical staff.

Fulton joins all-rounder Jacob Oram who is nursing a broken finger on his left hand and fast bowler Mark Gillespie who has a virus on the Black Caps injury list.

Stephen Fleming commented that Gillespie would “probably not” be fit to play New Zealand’s first Group C match against England on 16th March.
