Bopara in doubt for ODI series

England all-rounder Ravi Bopara is in doubt for England’s one-day series against the West Indies due to a thigh muscle injury.

Bopara suffered the injury during Essex’s game against Middlesex at Lord’s with the Essex physio Mark Thomas saying it would be two to three weeks before he is back to full fitness.

Bopara has played nine one-day internationals for England scoring 172 runs at an average of 34.40 and has taken three wickets at an average of 25.

England name their one-day squad on Friday with the first one-day international starting on 1st July at Lord’s, with the first of two Twenty20 internationals starting on 28th June.
