Top 25 cricketers of Shane Warne's Career - as decided by CW

1. McGrath
2. Lara
3. Warne
4. Steve Waugh
5. Murali
6. Ambrose
7. Ponting
8. Dravid
9. Tendulkar
10. Gilchrist

Tough on Donald and a couple of others. Just couldn't squeeze them in.
Alright, the rest of my 15:

11. Donald
12. Wasim
13. Kallis
14. Pollock
15. Hayden

I was actually sorely tempted to include Bevan, simply because this list also encompasses ODIs, but virtually every other player on the list was good in both forms (aside from perhaps Waugh), so he missed out. Andy Flower also just misses out.

This is going to be fascinating and when do we stop taking anymore lists, though heavyweights such as adharcric, Matt 79, Sanz, Fraz:-O and few others still have to post.

6. Wasim Akram
7. Curtley Ambrose
8. Ricky Ponting

Not too different from everyone else's really - S Waugh and Dravid both desperately unlucky. I've only judged the players on their careers between 1991-2007 rather than anything that went before, hence no Border or Kapil.
11. Steve Waugh
12. Rahul Dravid
13. Waqar Younis
14. Andy Flower
15. Shaun Pollock

Still would have loved to have found a spot for Walsh, Heals, Cairns and a few others, but this will have to do.

You see when I'm in the old people's home when I think back to this era I won't be thinking about many of the top ten, I'll be thinking about Zimbabwe.

Because there were better bowler than him, 2 IMO.

All the same, not having him in a top-15 is going a bit far.

Anyway, I'm out, TBH - discount my previous thing, this is really too difficult.

Is that your:

a) Joke list
b) "Personal favourites" list
c) Actual serious list of who you consider are the 15 best cricketers of the past decade and a half?

Because it's hard to tell.
