Also the thing is that Imran won't be able to make a difference only if he is given charge of the PCB b/c the the PCB chairman is a political appointee. Unless there is a transparent system of electing the board chairman nothing will improve.

Khan should never become the Chairman of PCB because he is too good for those losers (PCB and cricketers). It's one of his qualities I admire. Instead of staying at the level he was like other typical cricketer to commentator/coach/admin converters, he has decided to forget his cricketing past and move on to bigger and better things, i.e. trying to fix Pakistan. That is his priority now, and I hope he suceeds. If he does PCB will improve automatically.

For some reason they have gotten it in their heads that they are good and only get in the team due to merit.

Despite his piss poor wicket keeping skills,he was a pretty decent batsman for us in the shorter formats.And occasionally in Test Matches too.I don't think i'll be against the idea of him returning as a specialist batsman in the future,since he is much better than our current crop of opening batsmen bar Hafeez,but please,keep him away from the wicketkeeper's spot forever.
