NopeThis didn’t age very well, US PGA Tour players somewhat overperformed
A relatively higher % of LIV players made the cut
Anyway, Scheffler made it look easy

Considering the money that's been thrown at them, a 10th and 16th being the only top 20's is a bit pathetic. $450m for Rahm is not looking a great investment at the mo (well it never did). DeChambeau is doing so much heavy lifting for LIV he's losing muscle mass.Nope

I still find the anti LIV thing absolutely absurdConsidering the money that's been thrown at them, a 10th and 16th being the only top 20's is a bit pathetic. $450m for Rahm is not looking a great investment at the mo (well it never did). It's not a political thing for me, never really has been, I tend not to mix my sport and politics too much for as you rightly point out, you end up going round in circles. But these guys opted to move to a rival tour for stupid sums of money. In the case of the likes of DJ, Westwood, Poulter and even Koepka (who thought his career might've been up at the time), I totally get it. But if you make that choice, you understand what you're giving up as a result. The moaning from some (who should know better) was pathetic.I still find the anti LIV thing absolutely absurd
They’re allowed to play on virtually every tour bar the PGA Tour which is now dull as dishwater
Meanwhile the Yanks are supporting genocide in Gaza & Yemen while the idiot in charge is dropping more bombs than anyone since Bush
It’s just sport
IMO, Tiger is the greatest player in history but also a complete ****It's not a political thing for me, never really has been, I tend not to mix my sport and politics too much for as you rightly point out, you end up going round in circles. It's also a ****ing terrible product. You can say that the PGA Tour is dull, but still has some pretty awesome tournaments at Pebble, Riv, Sawgrass, Hilton Head, Torrey, Renaissance etc that the big boys all turn up for. But other than golf starved Aussies in Adelaide, no one has shown up for LIV tournaments, and it's not hard to see why.
Anyway, I think the biggest issue in golf at the mo is Scheffler. It's one thing having a Tiger dominating who you could either love or hate, but you could never fault his passion and what he brought to the sport, but such a meh personality as Scottie who seemingly doesn't care if he's winning or not really is just a turn off. You can't love him, but there's not much not to like either......that's why Rory remains the poster boy.
I’m not abusing himWhy does someone practicing Christianity deserve abuse for it. Would you say simular about someone who practiced Hinduism or Islam?
You can like them or loathe them, but at least the likes of Rory or Bryson stir emotions. I generally just feel nothing towards Scottie and his interview last week has left me feeling even less for him. I shot 37 points and came 2nd in Sunday's Stableford, I've got a feeling I celebrated more than his Open win!!I’m not abusing him
It’s a simple fact that everyday man relates more to those with faults (e.g. Warne) than those who are almost too good to be true
It wasn't abuse, but it's pretty boring hearing how Jesus is the reason for you winning tournaments and not the thousands of hours of practice you put in.Why does someone practicing Christianity deserve abuse for it. Would you say simular about someone who practiced Hinduism or Islam?
