The ATG Teams General arguing/discussing thread

a massive zebra

International Captain
The name that stands out is Clem Hill. He probably has the highest % of 90's per innings.
S. Waugh, Tendulkar et al will always appear at the top of these lists bcuz they played so much.
IIRC Clem Hill once made consecutive test scores of 99, 98 and 97.

International Vice-Captain
Good, eh.
Good for the opposition certainly.

Some of his epic feats down under.

Averaged 85 with the bat last time around and 15 with the ball:-O, so basically Bradman-lite with the bat and Barnes with the ball. And then, the Smith run out.

Overall, 43 with the bat and 21 with the ball, so Mcgrath with the ball and Langer with the bat.

And a few here were dead certain that he average above 40 with the ball in the last trip.

Yeah I had him averaging 40 odd for sure. As he should.

He doesn’t turn it and bowls darts. An indictment on current batting that he averages anything less.

He did, however, provide the absolute highlight of the summer when he absolutely bbq’ed his skipper then did the obnoxious sword celebration two minutes later when he got to 50, cos it’s always all about him.

Was one of the best character self-assessments I’ve ever seen.

How strong was SA 90s ODI team ? To have a W/L ratio of 1 against Aus team of late 90s/early 2000 is unbelievable.

I am watching highlights of AUS/SA ODI games on YouTube and in 50% of the games both teams are successfully defending 220 type score.
