'A seven-year-old boy was at the centre of a courtroom drama today when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.

'The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge awarded custody to his aunt. The boy however confirmed that his aunt beat him more than his parents, and refused to live there. When the judge suggested that he live with his grandparents the boy cried out that they beat him more than anyone.

'Then in an unprecedented move, the judge dramatically allowed the boy to choose who should have custody of him...

In a final ruling , custody was granted to the English cricket team as the boy firmly believes that they are not capable of beating anyone.'

That's only because WI went from being a predicted even contest to "WI are useless", NZ went from being a predicted even contest to "NZ are useless", and SA went from being a predicted even contest to "SA underperformed and aren't as good as they used to be" (even though hardly any England player played anywhere near as well as they had in the past 12 months, but they still comfortably won the series!

Honestly, I'm not bitter. I'm a huge admirer of the Australian cricket team and their will to win, and how they go about it on the field. It's the pathetic arrogance of some of their more vocal and immature supporters I find difficiult to deal with. As you so rightly imply, we come from different generations.

Don't worry, Australia has only got 2 or 3 decent players and only wins because of their sledging, favoratism by the umpires and, of course, the ICC conspiracy.
