It's a draw lolJohn1990 did. And as far as peaks go, his 3-4 years have been great but not godly. A better question is, who's a bigger prick? Ponting or Kohli?
He's not excellent, he's better than Tendulkar and Lara though in the field that's all I said and therefore is going to save runs compared to them in any format over the course of the game. I didn't compare him to Collingwood and Jonty Rhones that's for sureI can't believe so many people have bought into the meme of Kohli being some excellent fielder. The guy has cost us matches with his poor catching yet continues to put himself in the slips like he's Mark Waugh or something. His athleticism is vastly overblown too, doesn't even throw himself around as much as you'd expect.
Kohli is a decent enough fielder. I was comparing his fielding and batting to Tendulkar and Lara only in the comment he replied to. Ponting was really good in the field yes. He's a good fielder outside of the cordon. Did pretty well in the IPL by covering huge ground on the boundary. He's nowhere near as good as Ponting obv.
I was discussing all three formats of the game.haha woah there, not even the most rabid Kohli fan will claim he's a better Test batsman than those three.
Are their averages superior to richards in comparison to their peers as well?I think that analysis was done ( unless it's again about some factor which can't be captured with stats), ABD and Kohli don't strike as faster compared to his peers as Richards did, but their averages are superior to Richards.
Yes of course, that's what I meant in the first place. Are their averages superior to richards in comparison to their peers as well?
Yeah, but he's an idiot.Dean Jones not getting a mention here. Much as I hate him, his numbers for the era he played in were phenomenal too.
Viv never had to face WI bowling and ABdV got to dine often on WI bowlingViv was backing up and hitting sixes over extra cover before anyone and that's as thrilling a sight as ABDV's more unorthodox shots. Really entertaining. Viv was averaging 50+ and striking at 95 at one point but we all know his slump at the end. Viv was a much winner if there's ever been one, maybe that tilts it in his favour?
Wow.If you wanna pick an ODI side on fielding skills there's a lot of merit to that I reckon. Good fielding in ODIs has traditionally been more important than in either of the other formats imo. And we've seen some sensational fielders over the last 25 years. Having these guys in a team would win a team a lot of games

Not enough to compensate for **** bowling, I'm afraid!
It's a fielding XI, Collingwood and Rhodes made it :PNot enough to compensate for **** bowling, I'm afraid!
