I do like the basic idea of the WTC, but is the final always gonna be in England? Gives England a massive advantage if they ever manage to make the final. (probably designed that way tbf)
No idea. I don't like the basic idea of it tbh, but I did like the idea of the first one being at Lords if we were going to have it. Especially since I didn't think England were going to make it.

We could have it at the home of the team that finished top, but I do think the idea of it being a neutral venue kind of added to it when it happened. Perhaps make the top two teams negotiate for a venue that they both think is neutralish every time or something?

I have adjusted the averages of the peaks of test batsmen. I rank peaks on three criteria: average, runs per innings, and strike-rate, with a 4:2:1 weighting. So a batsman's peak period may not necessarily be when they attained their highest average, or though in most cases it is. Below are the top 25 test batsmen ranked peaks (minimum 5 years AND 40 innings).

Special thanks to srbhkshk for making this process a hell of a lot quicker.

I'm surprised Weekes and Walcott's adjusted peaks are that high. The mid 50s had some incredibly flat pitches and lots of bore draws.

Their averages both get absolutely btfo on my standardised averages project (both go down by 5-6), but they have such a high starting point that they can end up right up near the top of these lists anyway.

Most other blokes who had the longest innings (in terms of average balls faced) had an SR of 35-45, whilst Bradman had a 61 SR combined with facing ~160 balls per dismissal.
Hardly hit any sixes (maybe one in his test career?) so he must have been impossible to keep quiet and he was probably one of those batsmen who before you knew it had 80 to his name.

6 sixes as far as I know in internationals for Don.
And where does Trumper ranks? As I see Clem Hill is in #10 but there is no sign of Trumper.
