Well with funds allocated for the purpose don't see an issue. However the funds allocated for uplifting cricket is spent on women it is a problem..

Obviously that sort of corruption is bad but I don't imagine it actually takes up a massive part of the budget, even if it's true. Seems like a bit of a red herring to me, especially given how many times it's been mentioned.

TBH, I think these things are factoring in more now given the general economy situation in Sri Lanka. Any business that makes money (and cricket is one of those, make no mistake) will be something everyone would want to get their hands on. And now the performance of the team has given an opening to the Government to do just that.

Main issue is player managers are interfering everting ad SLC is allowing that. Corruption cannot be stopped by changing personnel. At least if player managers can be kicked out, that will be an improvement.
