They made a conscious and definate decision in the Third Test against Australia in 2005\06 to demote Pollock from new-ball duties, and even though practically everyone expressed surprise practically every Test (at least, those which he played...) from that one onwards they shouldn't have - it was obvious that the decision had been taken and would not be reversed.http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/wivzimsa/content/current/story/330394.html
Treated like crap lately. During the India series, I was astonished he wasn't opening the bowling - he troubled us more than anyone else.
Fantastic bowler.
I think a lot of people who watched his uncle bat may argue with you on that one.The only words I can use to describe how good Shaun Pollock was is hat he is a better bowler than his uncle is a batsman. A truly wonderful bowler.
Would be a good pickup for someone. How old would he be when he would qualify for England?Pollock as a Kolpak this summer then?

Yeah, I think most would certainly rate G over S Pollock. That doesnt detract from the fact he was a hell of a cricketer thoughI think a lot of people who watched his uncle bat may argue with you on that one.
