I'm as big a Broad fan as anyone, but he took like half a wicket when the destination of the urn was in doubt.Given that Cook, Trott, Bairstow, Prior, Hughes, Khawaja, Warner and Haddin all averaged about 25 between them I think it's fair to say Broad (25 with the bat and 27 with the ball) was the allrounder of the series.
Ditto Watson and Smith scoring runs in the dead rubber, actually. Trott and Haddin both look to have had dodgy series, but really their respective 50s at TB were more valuable than late series stats padding.
